Karen Gaietto PhD, RN, CNN is a clinical content writer and nursing educator for DaVita Incorporated. The 30 years of nursing experience encompasses geriatrics, Skilled Nursing Facilities/Sub-Acute, MR/DD, adjunct nursing faculty, and multiple modalities and roles within the nephrology setting. Dr. Gaietto’s work focuses on nephrology nursing specialty practice, development of skill acquisition, and encouragement of continued educational at all levels of healthcare. She believes in the promotion of evidenced based practice to enhance patient safety and improve quality care for betterment of the renal community.
