- The workshop aims to introduce participants to basic ideas about the Framework for Integration, a Dart based system that allows movers to redirect physical automatisms in real time using the Alexander Technique principles as a base of support.
- How does your workshop fit with the theme “Taking Time to Connect”?
- We believe the integration of Dart based perspectives facilitates a more profound experience of Alexander’s principles. The Framework for Integration also assists identification and redirection of overall bodily habits and patterns which clarifies the practices of Inhibition and Direction. The thinking body in activity needs time to be more accurately mapped and the psychophysical or somatic self more integrated. The work of Raymond Dart in particular allows us to connect to our greater ancestry to permit a glimpse of our capacity to address our development and healing over time.
