Amanda Blair MacDonald, M.AmSAT, MFA, R-MPA, is an Alexander Technique teacher and Movement Pattern Analyst living in Chicago.
A dance and movement educator for over 20 years, Amanda studied with Anne Green Gilbert at the Creative Dance Center in Seattle, WA and has used Anne’s methods for teaching in a wide variety of settings, from acting conservatories to elementary schools, from teacher development workshops to colleges and universities.
Amanda is an adjunct professor at DePaul University. She teaches individuals and groups and provides movement pattern analysis and consultations. A favorite new activity is curating and hosting AmSAT’s weekly Taking Time to Connect chat.
