Nada Diachenko certified in 1999 at AT Institute of Boulder, Colorado and is on the faculty of Alexander Technique Denver Teacher Training Course. She certified in Jessica Wolf's Art of Breathing in January 2014. She is also a Certified Muscular Therapist in the Benjamin System of Muscular Therapy. She teaches privately and conducts workshops nationally and internationally in AT, dance and injury prevention. Nada has presented workshops at past AGMs, the 11th International Congress, the Freedom to Move Congress in NYC, and for the American Conference for Orthopedic Medicine. She is a professor Emerita in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Colorado and recently retired after 32 years at CU. Nada created and taught Alexander Technique for dancers and actors and developed and directed the Dance MFA Somatic Emphasis where students pursued an intensive study in AT. Her book review of The Alexander Technique and Dance: The Missing Link was published in the AmSAT Journal and more recently in 2017 her introductory article on AT was published online at www.4dancers.org. Nada has had a fifty year career as a dancer, educator, choreographer and somatic specialist.
