Speaker Bio
Stasia Forsythe Siena is a classically trained singer on the Music Faculty of Roosevelt University’s College of the Performing Arts, where she teaches the Alexander Technique to Music and Theatre students. She is also on the faculty of Kendall Betts Horn Camp and teaches AT master classes to performing artists of all ages throughout the country and abroad. Stasia completed her bachelor’s degree at Georgetown University and has a Master of Arts degree from Indiana University. She trained as an AT teacher with Joan and Alexander Murray and was later appointed Co-Director of the Murray’s teacher training course in Urbana, Illinois. In addition to her university activities, Stasia maintains a lively private teaching practice including both online and in-person instruction. She hosts a public Alexander Technique Facebook group called The Balanced Art of Performance: Freedom, Awareness, Expression.
