Pamela Blanc, a Founding Director (1987) of The Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles, Senior Faculty, and currently Head of Training at ATI-LA, an AmSAT certified school and licensed by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Pamela has spent years as adjunct & guest lecturer in music and theater departments at various universities. Pamela is proud to have paved the way and referred other AmSAT Teachers in employment at these universities. Pamela is a senior teacher of Jessica Wolf’s Art of Breathing having enrolled in the first Graduate Training Program of Art of Breathing at ACAT, NYC (2002-2003). Pamela has assisted Jessica teaching other teachers and has integrated this influence into her teaching. Pamela’s first Alexander teacher was Frank Ottiwell (1975) and trained with Frank and Giora Pinkas, graduating 1979 ACAT-San Francisco. Encouraged by her teachers and committed to continuing education Pamela pursued studies before and after graduation with first generation teachers. Over the course of her career not a year has gone by during which Pamela has not continued her study of AT. In addition to her teaching at ATI-LA, Pamela enjoys her private practice in west Los Angeles, working with individuals from all walks of life.
